a brief history and introduction

i was told today that i'm a very "specific" person... whatever that means.

i suppose there are certain things i am very particular about, its just easier to ignore them. case in point... choosing a title for a blog caused me great distress... apparently i'm particular about nomenclature.

so after much careful deliberation and debate i was able to choose a suitable moniker for this blog... although i'm not entirely satisfied with it.

with that out of the way i've decided to start posting... and what better chance to provide some backstory than the first posting. my name is victor (but viktor is a much more evil, and ergo, better spelling). i have been alive for 26 years, 4 months and 2 days. i have an amazing job working for the magnolia photo booth co. i have great friends and the best family anyone could ever hope for. i am also burdened with substantial credit card debt, an insatiable love of fast food/chain restaurants & corn dogs, an inability to budget and a penchant for imbibing copious amounts of alcoholic beverages.

i've made lots of horrible decisions in just about all aspects of my life and i don't wish to continue doing so. this blog will be an attempt to catalogue some of the better decisions i hope to be making soon; specifically where matters of money, alcohol and healthy eating are concerned.

the catch? i'm notoriously bad about sticking to my guns and quite enjoy rationalizing all my slip-ups. for instance... i am going to eat at red lobster this evening. unhealthy, expensive... and likely to lead to at least one bloody mary. on the upside i'll be enjoying cheddar biscuits and it helps that i'll be joining someone who will be able to give me a discount.

cheddar biscuits, discounts & a bloody mary. i'm off to a questionable start.

ad occursum futurum.
