expert autotechs are ready to take the hassle out of installing a new radio in your vehicle

what follows below is an email i just sent to bestbuy:

Hello. I am filling out this form because I'm having issues specifically with a service offered at Store 333 in Louisville, KY. I am having an unpleasant experience with this store and just wanted to inform customer service. I purchased a car stereo from this store last week and would like for the staff there at the store to install said stereo - only there's a problem - no one at the store seems to be concerned that I'd like to give them money to perform this service. When originally purchasing the stereo I asked if I could bring my vehicle in that day. This question was met with a great deal of uncertainty and I was informed that the service is offered on a "first come, first served" basis. My prompt reply? "Can I bring it to you in an hour?" The associate's reply? "Well maybe, we might be able to get to it. I'd have to check." I was then told that maybe I could bring it back in a couple hours and they might be able to get to it. When I'm contemplating bringing my ONLY form of transportation to have some service performed I do not want to hear the word "might". I decided to wait until another day as the associate kindly informed me that I could bring it back another day if that were more convenient. Since that day I've contacted the store to find out what hours they're available for car stereo installations and have had a similar experience. When asking the associate on the phone about the hours this service is available during I was told... immediately upon inquiry "Well it is first come, first served and they don't work on appointments." This was neither an answer to my direct question, nor was it helpful in any way. I realize that the service is offered first come/first served, but what I need to know is WHEN I can show up to be the first or when I can show up to be the last. The associate transferred me to someone in the Car Audio department. I repeated my question to the gentleman. I was once again informed that things are done "first come, first served" (my frustration increasing) and that they "don't take appointments". I then asked if I could bring my car in today and was told that they may or may not be around in an hour. I then asked if they were there during normal store house. His reply was that they are there when the store opens at 10 and that they sometimes may stick around till 8. Why then would he have just told me they were only going to be there another hour? I would just like to have a stereo installed and not have it become a huge ordeal where my car is parked, awaiting service at Best Buy Store 333 for hours on end while they "MAY be able to get to it". And it doesn't seem that the staff there care if I come to them to perform this service or not. I realize its no huge purchase, but I also have to think that it should NOT POSSIBLY BE THIS FRUSTRATING to simply have someone perform a simple installation. Yours truly (and TRULY frustrated), Victor Hicks
